The
NYS Regents Exam in the Living Environment is divided into four sections. Part A and B-1 are multiple choice questions on the full range of topics found in the core curriculum. Part B-2 includes a mix of constructed response, multiple choice, and a graphing question. Questions in this section tend to involve data analysis. Part C of the exam is composed of constructed response questions, and usually prompts students to design an experiment. Part D focuses on the required state labs, and is a mix of multiple choice and constructed response questions. Below are resources made by NVPS staff members and Living Environment teachers to support the instruction of teachers in preparing their students for the NYS regents exam.
